Had an amazing time on Easter Sunday. When you are away from your real family you adopt your new one to celebrate with. All the Canadian students as well as 2 Montenegrin students joined us for dinner. We gained access to the kitchen in the rooming house we are in and had to scrub for a while before we were satisfied about using it but it turned out to be a very functional kitchen.
Glenn and I prepared a meal as best we could with 4 burners and a small oven. Salad, Chicken in a eggplant and tomato pesto sauce, white turnips and carrots and potatoes, and an nut type cake-let with chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Alexander brought a platter of cakes from his aunt and her Easter lunch. Nice touch.
Good music, good wine and good company made for a very enjoyable evening.
